Naturally Dyed
Every piece of silk in our collection gets its color from nature: plants, herbs, minerals and roots, dyed by hand in the country of Georgia.
Rooted in Georgia
Natural dyeing in Georgia has centuries of history. Long before synthetic dyes existed, color came from what grew in the land around it. We work with that tradition: our silk is hand-dyed in Georgia and then cut and sewn there, so each garment is made from start to finish in the place where this craft lives.
What we dye with
Our colors come from plants, herbs, minerals and roots, not synthetic dyes. The result is color with depth: tones that shift softly in the light rather than sitting flat on the fabric.
Why no two pieces are the same
Natural dye is a living process. The plant, the season and the dye bath all shape the final shade, so color can vary slightly from piece to piece. We see that as the point: your piece is one of a kind.
Made with intention
We design our collections through circular, slow and conscious fashion to help reduce the waste that ends up in landfills. Our silk is dyed and sewn in Georgia; our leather and suede pieces are made in New York City.
Caring for naturally dyed silk
- Dry clean only.
- Tell your dry cleaner the silk is naturally dyed so they can treat it gently.
- Natural dyes are delicate: avoid long exposure to direct sunlight and keep perfume and deodorant off the fabric.
- Store away from light, on a padded hanger or folded in a breathable bag.
Cared for well, naturally dyed silk becomes a piece you keep for years.
